Last Updated: 18 June 2025

Effective Date: 18 June 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the website at syntara.world and participation in programs offered by Syntara, located at 229 Thanon Ratchadaphisek, Din Daeng, Bangkok 10400, Thailand. By using the website or enquiring about a program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enrol in any program. Questions may be sent to [email protected].

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or submitting an enrolment enquiry, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Service Description

Syntara offers in-person and remote educational programs in AI development, including the Natural Language Processing Workshop, Computer Vision Fundamentals course, and Capstone Mentorship Program. Programs take place primarily in Bangkok, Thailand. Remote participation options may be available for certain programs and are confirmed at the time of enrolment.

Program content, structure, pricing, and availability may change between when an enquiry is made and when a program runs. We will communicate any material changes to enrolled participants before the program begins.

4. Enrolment and Participation

5. User Responsibilities

When participating in a Syntara program, you agree to:

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a program without refund if their conduct materially disrupts the learning environment or violates these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All program materials — including slides, notebooks, code examples, and written documentation — remain the intellectual property of Syntara unless otherwise stated. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for their own educational and professional development purposes.

Code written by participants during programs, including Capstone projects, belongs to the participant. We do not claim ownership of participant-created work.

7. Payment Terms

Program fees are listed on the website in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due before the program start date unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer or other methods confirmed at enrolment.

Cancellations by participant: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations between 7 and 14 days before may receive a 50% refund or transfer to a future program. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to a future session at our discretion.

Cancellations by Syntara: If we cancel a program, participants receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.

8. Disclaimers

Our programs are provided for educational purposes. We do not make any representations about employment outcomes, salary changes, or career progression as a result of completing a program. Results depend on individual effort, prior knowledge, and circumstances outside our control.

Program content is provided in good faith based on current knowledge and practice. The field of AI development evolves quickly; some techniques or tools discussed may change or become deprecated after a program ends.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Syntara's total liability to you in connection with any program or use of this website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in programs or use of program materials.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Syntara from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your use of program materials in a manner not permitted by this Agreement, or any unlawful conduct during or related to a program.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate enrolment with reasonable written notice. The refund terms in Section 7 apply to participant-initiated termination. Syntara may terminate enrolment without notice in cases of serious breach of these terms or disruptive behaviour.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution by direct communication. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, disputes will be referred to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or enrolment in programs after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For enrolled participants, material changes will be communicated in writing before they take effect.
